Server Rules
MercyCraft is a community built on Christian values. These rules help us maintain a wholesome, safe, and enjoyable environment for all players.

Respect & Kindness
- Treat all players with respect and dignity.
- No harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.
- Be patient with new players and help them learn.
- Disagreements should be handled maturely and privately.
Chat & Communication
- Keep chat family-friendly at all times.
- No swearing, crude language, or inappropriate topics.
- No spamming, excessive caps, or chat flooding.
- English is the primary language in public chat.
- Advertising other servers is not permitted.
Fair Play
- No cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs.
- No unauthorized mods or clients (ask staff if unsure).
- No AFK machines or automation that bypasses game mechanics.
- Report any bugs or exploits to staff immediately.
Community Conduct
- Respect other players' builds and property.
- No griefing, stealing, or destroying others' work.
- Keep builds appropriate and family-friendly.
- Faction disputes should be handled through proper channels.
Building Guidelines
- Build at least 100 blocks away from other players unless invited.
- No offensive, inappropriate, or controversial structures.
- Clean up temporary structures and creeper holes.
- Mob farms must follow server guidelines (ask staff).
Economy & Trading
- Honor all trades and agreements.
- No scamming or deceptive trading practices.
- Real-money trading for in-game items is prohibited.
- Report suspicious economic activity to staff.
Enforcement
Staff members have discretion in enforcing rules. Severity of punishment depends on the offense and history. All players are expected to follow the spirit of the rules, not just the letter.

| Cheating / Hacking | Permanent Ban |
| Harassment | Tempban → Permanent Ban |
| Repeated Violations | Escalating punishments up to permanent ban |
These rules may be updated at any time. Continued play on the server constitutes acceptance of all rules. If you have questions about any rule, please ask a staff member.
